Ballarat hamvention
For my first hamvention it was pretty good to see what they were like, but I wouldn’t say it was a fantastic one.
Got in about 10am or so and had a look around, met the GARC table and then looked some more and got some food.
After ruffling through boxes of books and not finding anything good we headed back to the GARC table.
Ended up getting an ICOM260A VHF 2M all mode transceiver for a swap of an FT7. Yay.
Now I can operate VHF with a proper base station, as well as SSB. woot.
