New PSU
Bought the globalwin sapphire off dud_bolt last week and installed it. Unfortunately it’s longer than my previous one, so I had to mount the 120mm fan on the top.

As you can see, the wires are really messy currently, I need to get some cable ties to clean the wires up too. I’m going to try putting some washers to eliminate noise and raise the fan (the wire has to fold under it, so when it turns, it brushes against it. If the normal washers don’t work (the red er, ones) I’ll have to order in some silencing one, which I can use on all fans to eliminate noise.
I bought a scew case at the swapmeet this morning, so I have plenty more (finally
).
I put the old PSU in my ‘parts’ box, so all I need now is a socket A proc and a harddrive. Once I do that, I have some spare ram (ddr266). Once that’s done, I can get some stuff on there, and run it as a gameserver. But because it has onboard graphics (and bad ones I might add), I might need to get a graphics card too.
Thanks to J (http://joshu.net) I’ve got vsync disabled on everything now, and I’ve noticed a LOT of difference on savage. I’ve finally got my graphics how I like them.
